Wow. It will be COLD tonight! I can't wait to get out to Comerica Park....after 19 years with this team, they are finally headed for the world series.....it's unbelievably exciting to be a part of it. I'll be singing God Bless America for the 7th inning stretch.....thanks Lani, for letting me borrow your creme sweater vest, and Lynn, for letting me borrow your black coat with the fur cuffs. I'll bring a blanket too. I can hear the wind whipping outside as I write this. I hope I start in a good key and not too low. I'm not sure if I'm anxious or nervous...I just want to get out there....
I remember a few years ago, when they played Oakland. Jeanette had just been adopted so I thought it'd be a good idea to take her and Dan and Mitch to the game. There was a 2 hour rain delay! We sat inside guest services forever...she couldn't speak english yet...Mitch kept having to pee. It was fun...but tonight will be WAY funner!
